Overseas

HBC Academy are registered with the Department for Education and Skills.
Click here to search for us on the DfES providers register. Type "HBC Academy" in the search window on the DfES Website.

Each overseas student who attends HBC Academy on a student visa must attend a minimum of 16 hours (full time) per week.

Before HBC Academy can issue a letter for Immigration clearance or for a Home Office extension:

a. Admission to HBC Academy must be secured.

b. Accommodation in London must be secured.

c. Proof must be provided that the student can adequately cover living expenses for the duration of the course.

d. A non-refundable deposit of £350 must be paid.

Students possessing a student visa to attend HBC Academy and who do not attend college will be immediately reported to the Home Office and dealt with on a legal basis accordingly.

Also TWO consecutive periods of INADEQUATE ATTENDANCE will result in the Home Office being informed. There will be no refund of fees already paid in these cases.

Overseas students must possess a practical knowledge and use of the English language.


IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT ALL PROSPECTIVE OVERSEAS STUDENTS SHOULD OBTAIN THEIR VISA THROUGH THE BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION IN THEIR HOME COUNTRY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO ENTER BRITAIN
